Earning the opportunity to play the East Valley champs and play at the U S Airways Arena ( home of the Phoenix Sun)The Heat delivered a victory. The Heat squad never had the lead in the game until the final minute as a tenacious defensive press gave them a 42-37 win. Congratulations to the 7th & 8th grade squad.
HDHBC (High Desert Heat Basketball Club) was established in August 2007, with the goal of providing excellent coaching and high levels of competition for the kids in and around the Anthem, Arizona, community. Jr. Sun (boys) and Jr. Mercury (girls) teams are now being formed for kids in grades 1st thru 8th.
